CF 65 Fastback. Current Reg. No. TNP 866L Status: Active 2010. UK. (Was Unknown 11)
As far as is currently known CF 65 was first registered in January 1973 as TGC 791L, but sometime in the early Nineties it then apparently changed to TNP 866L which it still retains today.
CF 65 TNP 866 L. Fastback. Automatic. RHD Added 15/3/11
"The three 428's together were taken on my camera at the photo shoot for the Thoroughbred and Classic Cars Magazine article in I think 1985 or 1986. The 2 convertibles ( the Red one is the pop-up headlamp prototype ) both belonged I seem to remember to Peter Johnson and I presume still do. I must have bought CF65 sometime in 1985 or 1986. Actually it was advertised in ACtion which was where I bought it from"

I bought the car from the first ( or maybe 2nd ) owner and the car at this time was a wedgewood blue with wire-wheels. It was me that loaned the car to Thoroughbred and Classic Cars Magazine in 1986 and indeed it is me driving it in the pictures. I had some suspension work done and replaced the tyres but othewise she was in nice useable condition. I sold the car a year later to finance buying a Miura and I notice that she is now painted Metallic Burgundy."
